The repair centre in Nymbu
rk carries out repairs of all model ranges of dieselelectric locomotives and their main parts, electric units of the model range 854 and carriages 020, 021, 050 and 053. The PSO can repair units with GP200 boogies which are not currently used. Next, repairs of units of the model range 810 and carriages 010, 012 are possible, which are moved to the PSO Veselí nad Moravou for the model ranges to be unified. Then, special railway vehicles used for track maintenance are repaired as well. For example, the boogies and frames of auxiliary aggregates PA300, boogies of cleaning railways machines SČ600, the vehicles MVTV2 for wire maintenance, monitoring carriages MD1 + MD1.1 etc. In 2007 the repair centre started general inspections of electric boogies at the units of the model range 680. After prescribed number of kilometres is reached, general repairs will be done as well. The repair centre is equipped with an underfloor lathe for renewing of an operational profile without removal of the wheelset out of the locomotive. 
Next there are specialised workshops for jet pumps, water pumps and regulators of combustion engines, traction motors and a test place for spiral springs. The PSO carries out repairs of NiCd electric batteries. Part of this programme are repairs of the wheelsets. As regqard the wheelsets a renewing of the operational profile according to the customers´ needs, setting up of the spoke whels, brake discs and axle bolts are carried out. Worn out or shifted wheel rims are exchanged. If the dimensions of the spoke wheels are not acceptable, there is a welding place where additional material can be welded to the wheels. Next a setting up is provided. Outside of this workplace a welding up of wheel rims and disc wheels are carried out directly on the boogies and then, trueing is provided by the underfloor lathe. In 2007 a workplace for piston compressors was established to meet the needs of external customers.
